Find Next button ΓÇö use this button to simply find next occurence or initial one of the Find What string as specified by the Find String/Find Whole parameter. This button becomes active only when a Find What string is specified, and then becomes dimmed if the Find What string has just been completely replaced ΓÇö the foundchunk is empty. You can now simply hit the enter or return key to engage this button. This button will also work continuously when either key is held down.
Replace button ΓÇö use this button to replace the string or word that is surrounded by a black rectangle. If you donΓÇÖt see the rectangle, it may still be there. Drag the dialog around so you can see all of hypercardΓÇÖs window. This button is dimmed initially, that is, when there is no Find What string, and when the foundchunk is empty.
Replace All button ΓÇö use this button to execute both the Find Next button and the Replace button in sequence until all the matches of the Find What string in the stack have been replaced. This button is dimmed initially, that is, when there is no Find What string, and when the foundchunk is empty.
